Led by Sporting Project Director, Pablo Toledo, the Coach Development Department will be actively providing coaching education workshops at both Rush Summit & Rush Fest.
Find below a brief description of the enriching coaching education experience that will be provided to all Rush coaches attending these events.
COACHING EDUCATION @ RUSH SUMMIT (July 9-11):
What’s the Rush Summit about? Every year in the month of July, Rush Summit congregates all of our clubs to meet in person for 3 days, prior to the commencement of Rush Fest.
Apart from an invaluable opportunity to debate and decide on the future of our club, Rush Summit offers an amazing space for coach education activities, on and off the field.
The Rush Coach Development Team strives to present top quality workshops for our attending coaches, as well as bring world class professionals to run these sessions.
During the upcoming edition, the Rush Soccer Development department will be highly active during Rush Summit, presenting in four different instances. The objective of the department, apart from explaining the projects and budget proposal of the 2021/22 cycle, will be to continue to work on the long term vision of the club towards sharing and developing a common Rush Way Player Development Approach among all of our partners, and debate strategies to implement it successfully at the local level.

COACHING EDUCATION @ RUSH FEST (July 11-16):
What’s the Rush Fest about? Rush Fest is a week long soccer festival unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Rush Players play against other Rush teams from all over the nation and world! They can be trained by coaches from different states, backgrounds, and cultures that all teach the Rush Way in their own unique style.
This year, Rush Fest will be open for 2009 age groups. They will be playing 11v11 as this will be the first transition event moving into U13 where players will play full sided.
Coaches will enjoy a four day workshop led by Pablo Toledo, Rush Soccer’s Sporting Project Director, covering the Rush Way Player Development Approach and its field application. The learning instances will be participant centered. Coaches will be invited to discuss, present, and coach to demonstrate.
