Robin, a distinguished soccer educationalist and current owner of Sports Path, a leader platform in soccer education, has been involved with the English FA since 1978 serving several roles, such as Regional Coach and/or Assistant Director of Coaching. He’s also established the FA’s Grassroots Program and in 1996 oversaw the implementation of UEFA Coach Education Courses in England.
He has served as UEFA Football Development Consultant since 2005 and in a similar role for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) since 2016 Retention of participation is a key issues in youth soccer globally and Robin is currently examine and researching the role of the coach in maximizing retention of players.
